KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) has appointed Ahmad Rizal Omar as its new chief finance officer (CFO) to lead the organisation’s financial standing in a strategic direction.

A chartered accountant, Ahmad Rizal has 24 years of experience in investments evaluation and management, corporate finance and audit, including stints in Turkiye and the Asia Pacific region, PLUS said in a statement today.

Ahmad Rizal holds a Master of Finance degree from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

He had also served Khazanah Nasional Bhd as senior vice-president of Investments as well as Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) CFO and Head of Strategic Planning and Treasury Management at MAHB-owned Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Turkiye. - Bernama
